Singapore's IdealSoft voted world's best
Innovative local company takes Best Small Business Solution award and Best in Show honors at Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference
Singapore - IdealSoft, a leading Singapore IT solution provider, has become the first Singapore company to take global honors at Microsoft's Worldwide Partner Conference, sweeping both the Best Small Business Solution and overall Best-In-Show awards in the small business category.
IdealSoft's solution was awarded the coveted Computer Reseller News (CRN) Best In Show Award - Small Business at the recent Worldwide Partner Conference 2003 Partner Awards in New Orleans, USA. More than 5,500 top business leaders, marketing executives, sales professionals and solution architects attended the conference.
Developed for Uniseal Waterproofing Pte Ltd, a Singapore waterproofing technology company, IdealSoft's solution was selected from 1,050 entries from developers around the world. Only two Best-In-Show prizes are awarded each year.
Earlier in the event, IdealSoft also took the Best Small Business Solution Award, setting the stage for its subsequent honors. The CRN Best-In-Show awards are chosen by a panel of more than 140 judges, comprising international and field partner account managers, product group managers, Microsoft Consulting Services consultants, Microsoft partner program managers and Microsoft executives.

IdealSof's solution, built on Microsoft Windows 2000, Windows CE and SQL Server 2000, computerized a set of manual accounting processes, reducing Uniseal's administration and processing costs, slashing order cycle times and improving order fulfillment.
IdealSoft also devised an innovative Wireless Sales Force Automation System built on Microsoft Business Solutions Great Plains software that enabled Uniseal's sales team to expand into new markets, improve close rates and explore new revenue opportunities.
IdealSoft is a Microsoft Singapore Infocomm Local Industry Upgrade (iLIUP) partner company since October 2002, and has benefited from training at Microsoft Singapore's XML Center, established to help Singapore companies take advantage of Extensible Markup Language (XML) and .NET technology.
